Pros: Great Feel, Excellent Tone, Build Qualit and attention to Detail
Cons: Not Active/Passive just active,

This bass is a great instrument. I actually gambled going with Nino, since I never played any of his basses before I ordered mine. I'm glad I did because I hit the jackpot!!! Imagine a bass that's comfortable, easily played, light as can be, and has a totally versatile and aggressive tone. That's exactly what I have. I love the birdseye fretboard and neck. It's much better looking than I thought it would be. I was shocked at what I got. Very pretty bass indeed.

When I plugged it in, I wondered what I was going to hear. I had a sound in my head that I wanted. I wanted a tone kind of like a Sadowsky M5 24 with EMG's mixed with a Fender Marcus Miller Jazz. What I got would blow any Marcus Miller away and would definitely give the M5 24 a run for it's money. Not bad considering the Sadowsky runs over $1000 more than this bass, at least the NYC model. I got it with the Aggie OBP3 since I wanted to be able to boost and cut my mids. I play in both the studio and at church so sometimes I need more mids than others. The Aggie is perfect for my needs and really sets this bass on fire, especially at 18 volts.

The feel of this bass is up there with Sadowsky, Mike Lull, and Lakland, andit blows away any Fender I've ever played. The neck is perfect and smooth, and the frets are dressed to perfection. Nino really know how to build these things. I love this bass and I'll never sell it, God willing of course. I'm a happy customer and my next bass will more than likely be another Valenti
