Some say it looks a little silly

I had an old SM400 that I'd been playing for about 4 or 5 years, but I was starting to play more outdoor gigs without PA support. Because I play in some reggae/dub bands, the loud bass with no distortion is a must. I was mainly checking out GK, Mesa and Markbass, and the MB really did it for me. Almost twice as much $$ as the GK 1001, but boy I really like the tone a whole lot more.
Weighs 7.5 pounds, but it gets much louder than any other amp I've ever tried. Has stayed totally cool through 3+ hour sets, too.
Definitely recommended.
