Pros:
performed as advertised. crystal clear highs, round bottom, punchy mids, fast response, DROPPED RIGHT IN, AND THEY LOOK COOL AS SH1T

Cons:
expensive mamajamas!

I paired these JMVC's with my warwick thumb bolt-on with an aguilar obp-3. They performed beyond my expectations and made my warwick sound even more growly! It is definitely hi-fi sounding. I can get more versatility from these split hum-cancelers than the stock stacked hum-canceling MEC's. And the "visual impact of the 9.5mm magnets is clearly audible" and cool as sh!t. I don't know what else to say about these except Delano promised and delivered well beyond my expectations.

I have a Sandberg California JJ4 fretless with these Delanos as stock pups. The bass is awesome, and plays very well, but the pups disappoint! The bridge pup brings out a weak little thin sound, and the neck pup puts out a muffled low! Balanced the pups sound swampy and dull. I have a Fender Jazz Bass which sounds exactly like I like it - snarly, growly bridge pup, and punchy, crispy lows from the neck pup! At half the price!
I would always recommend the California fretless, since it is a wonderful instrument - but if you have any suggestions as to replacement pups, I would love to hear from you guys!
