Pros:
Great tone, very low price.
Cons:
Just a little bit larger than stock pickups
After extensive research of all brands of Jazz Bass pickups by all the major names, I somehow decided to give these a try. I got them from Guitarpartsonline.com. I was a little worried by the low DC resistance when I ordered them. I would be putting them in my Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass that now has an Olympic white body. I already had installed an EMG BT control and I was using that with the stock pickups. When the pups arrived I nervously put them in and fired it up. WOW! is all that I can say. These are LOUD pups! Outright monsters! I think they would compare to Duncan Quarter Pounders. All the frequencies are there. The lows, the mids and the highs. They may be ceramic magnets. I'm not sure. I know that may turn some people off. The stock pups were weak and thin in comparison and notes on the G string struggled to come out. I've been playing 30 plus years and I couldn't be happier with these pups. Especially coming to my door at under $30.00 with shipping. I plan to get another set for my fretless Jazz

Pros:
Don't know as They would not fit into MIM body.
Cons:
Don't know as They would not fit into MIM body.
This company shipped a week late and put the blame on Paypal... These pickups would not fit without major modifications to my MIM body... I understand that sometimes parts don't fit and that's life. This seller is a difficult person to deal with and had I not purchased through Paypal I would have been stiffed for the purchase price and postage...I would not deal with this company again under any circumstances ...

Pros:
price
Cons:
get what you pay for
I bought these pups. Haven't tried them
One has a wire hanging out of the tape that is around the coil. I called and explained and got the reply
"OK" Wanted me to install them if they didn't work he would replace them
I don't think so. What cheesy way to run a company.
