Pros:
|
Looks good; Weighs barely anything; Nice sound.

|
Cons:
|
Discontinued in 2003.

I love mine. It sounds like a Ric with just a little bit of grand piano. Plays really well. I just love everything about it.
The only real con with mine was that the battery holder's double-sided tape lost it's stickiness and fell off. If you have a rag it's a simple fix; wrap it with a rag until it fits in the electronics compartment snugly and won't rattle around.

Not as full-bodied a s P bass, re-sale value not good

I love the bass. Very light and easy to play, and has some nice bite and punch. Also one of the best looking instruments you will ever see. I've had very good luck with mine. Resale value suffers because of the Dean name, but this is a darned good bass for the money IMHO.
