Pros:
Very solid design, brilliant color red, one-of-a-kind piece, and crafted out of passion, fits me well, and obviously the specs
Cons:
Sharp fret ends, and screw heads look torqued with wrong Philips tip.

I recently bought this Buscanti Newport from Jeff Herman, whose talkbass handle is jazzyitalian. I decided to give this a 9 rating for a few tough factors and criteria that matter to me. As you can see, the specs are quite impressive on this bass. I was looking for something rare, one-of-a-kind, and something made from a passion of crafting. I was not interested in a retail spin off guitar made cheaply in India. Jeff and his brother have some great experience perfecting these pieces and being local to me I couldn't pass it up. I feel this guitar is what I needed to spark my playing again and learn to appreciate and recognize higher quality in all aspects. I'm going to leave this review short and sweet because I have many years to go with this guitar and hopefully a story to tell along with it. Time will tell the true review.
