The reason for writing this review is that I have tried a lot of phase shifters to cop that 70's funk sound and to enhance slap bass playing. This is the best one I have used. I have owned MXR Phase 90 and Phase 90 Eddie Valen, Dod 290 and 490, EH Smallstone Nano and Russian models, and Boss PH2. I like this the best. sounds natural if that makes sense, blends well with your original bass tone. Not noisy or swooshy. Also does a nice vibrato/Leslie sound. very simple to use...has alot of sounds built into the speed control but nothing over the top. Very musical phase shifter. All in a small MXR size box. Very funky phase shifter !!
