Pros: Cost, Sound.
Cons: No D.I., Amp Modeling could be better.

I got this because I wanted to start using fx and also if I foudn something that I liked then I could save the sound and come back to it later.

I did some research between the Pod XT Live (bass) and the Boss B6 (I think) and this one. I chose this one because it was the only one I could afford and I thought it sounded pretty decent.

When it arrived I tried it straight away and I was blown away with all the presets, obviously some where left to be desired.

I read through the instruction manual a few times, it seemed pretty straight forward. and it was.

In short, I always can find the tone I desire, it's got a very wide range of sound that can be made and I'm still blpwn away with it now after a year of owning it. Chorus's, Flanger and Dist's are great, some better then others. The Delay has a tap tempo which makes it pretty useful when I want it to be in time with the music.

As mentioned my only downside is that the unit has no D.I. which is not good and the amp models are alright, but not great.

Sorry for the badness of this review.

Mark.

NOTE: THE PRICE I PAID IS IN BRITISH POUND STERLING, NOT USD.

Pros: lots of effects and presets, good modulation and distortion
Cons: digital sounding, tone sucker

This multi isnt all that bad. It does suck some tone, probably put this in some sort of loop so you can buypass it. If you want a whole variety of effects including various pedals and wah/volume pedal for cheap, check it out.

Its pretty easy to use, effects layout is intuitive, its like having a handful of stomp boxes and and a wah/volume. You can set presets with multiple effects or use each pedal like an individual stomp. This is a great pedal for learning what the different effects types are and can sound like. I really liked the phaser, chorus and reverb. I dont use a lot of distortion, but playing around on here they sounded decent. It is a digital pedal, and it sounds as such.

This is a great pedal for an introduction to effects. My biggest complaint is that on bypass yotu tone is noticible weaker than if you didnt plug into this thing at all. For the money you probably can't get a better multi for cheaper. Great way to learn what effects you want to get in individual stomps. Modulation, delay and verb are great, but if it cant keep the initial signal integrity of my bass, Its not going to get used all that often. Fun for knob tweakers for sure....
