Pros: size, looks,sound, functionality,price
Cons: DI noisy

got my amp along with the GK 2 x 12" neo cab contrary to my historic view on neo cabs and tiny amps with no tubes.

i love it................................................ ...........

as a former Walter Woods owner , i dig little amps but was not crazy about the price points. this new GK amp (along with a few others) have made powerful little amps reasonably affordable.

i compared this amp to the Genz Benz, Eden, MarkBass and TC Electronics. The Eden was warmer and my second choice.
i chose the GK for 2 distinct reasons:
1) good looking , clean, simple layout
2) lightweight cabinet matching

the 2x12" neo cab is obviously light and sounds great, though
not as warm as my Eden 4x10".

this rig will be used for giging and may someday replace my WT-800 and 4x10" at church.

players looking for good tone at a fair price that is easy on the back, this is a very good option.

November 2009 Update:
i sold the amp because the DI was extremely noisy and the tone lacked the warmth of my Eden.
i still believe this is a good amp for live gigs that require loud clear tone especially if you're already pleased with the GK sound.
i replaced the amp with a SWR M2 Marcus Miller Preamp and now use it in conjunction with a powered monitor that recieves a feed from guitar, vocals, keys and my bass.
i would not hesitate to check out the updated MB2 500 with the tube pre amp.

Pros: lightwieght, clean tone
Cons: knobs too easy to turn

I bought this amp a few months ago and I absolutely love it! I am a fan of the GK tone and I love the contour knob. It allows you to dial in almost any sound you want. This little amp is powerful! I use it with a 8 ohm cab so I'm only using 350 watts, and it is still is everything I will need. My only complaint with this amp is that your settings never stay. The knobs stick out and are really easy to turn. Even just a bump in your case or gig bag could really mess up your settings. Minor flaw for an overall great amp! If it were a perfect world it would have the motorized knobs from the fusion 550. I will definitly be sticking with GK for my future purchases.
