Pros: lightweight. Eyecatching.
Cons: High action. Poor bass response.

General construction.
This is a very eye catching design. It has a very light wood body comprising a rim and handles which are attached to a long neck. It feel fairly sturdy despite the balsa wood feel. Piezzo electric pickup. Integrated pre-amp with tone control.

Neck.
The neck is thick and coated in coarse paint. The thickness and rough paint haven't caused me any problems with ordinary playing. The fret board is hard wood but the back is very light wood. The truss rod keeps it straight. There are no markers on the edge and the handles initially made it difficult to to get it resting against the body at the right angle to see the fret board. The neck thickness and altered body position also made it difficult to judge movements up and down the fretboard. Before lowering the bridge the strings were so high that notes played at the 12th fret were very out of tune.

Pick up.
The pick-up is piezo-electric amplified trough an integrated pre-amp circuit. Any vibration is converted into an electrical signal. This includes bumps and string squeak. It has a very good treble response but is poor in the lower range even with the tone in the pre-amp turned fully to bass.

Condition on delivery.
The bridge is set far too high and I had to lower it by about 5mm. The position of the strap nipples push the whole thing too far to the left so I re-sited them. The strings are coarse and produce a very loud squeak through the pick-up. I replaced them with flat wound jazz strings.

Finally
Before I bought it I had back pain and was suffering badly during 3 hour rehearsals. The low weight was really appreciated. After lowering the bridge re-siting the strap, putting some markers on the side and trimming the handles I actually quite like it.
It is good as a practice instrument but I wouldn't use it for a gig mainly due to lack of deep bass response.
