Pros: Light weight, modern tone, super playability
Cons: none I can think of

Bought this one used and I'm still trying to figure out why anyone would sell this thing. It's one of the best playing basses I've ever owned. Comparable to my Hanewinkel, play-wise, but without the weight. Super-low action with only slight buzz. Serious fretwork.

Tone-wise it doesn't have as great a palette as my Wood & Tronics Chronos 5, but it does have some great sounds in it. If that is the trade-off I make for having it weigh next to nothing, then I'll take it. It really has a great sound and a great look. I was never crazy about the Elrick headstock design, but it's not bad.

Another thing about this is that I usually can't stand 35" scale basses. I can play them OK, but I guess the extra little bit of reach sort of robs me of the groove I can generate with a 34" scale bass. I stopped playing 35" scales when I sold my MTD 535. I can see now that I was wrong. I can be just as funky with the Elrick as I can with any 34" scale bass. This thing is awesome and I'm loving playing it.
