Description:

The Mastotron™ is a new, heavy silicon fuzz design that includes a couple of unusual features... source impedance control, subs control, and pulse width control. It works equally well with bass and guitar, and can easily be interfaced with digital devices like recorders as well as keyboards.

I have been looking for a fuzz that could withstand the massive output from my 18v and I have found it. The Far right pot (relax/push) will let you set it for passive inst (push) all the way to line-level (relax). This means consistent sound for whatever instrument is plugged in.
The Pulse Wave knob is a great feature that lets you set it from all out, no holds-barred fuzz (min) to extreme gated bit-crushing (max). Some very curious sounds to be had with it all the way up!
Last is the most wonderful feature: the subs switch. It's positions are 2-1-3. At 1 it is a normal bass killing fuzz with no low end. At 2 it keeps your regular tone, bass and all. At 3 it adds in extreme low end for serious fuzz explosion. I will almost always leave it on 3.
If you can't afford 399 for the wooly mammoth but really want that kind of awesomeness, check this puppy out. I'm not going to pay 400 for a single pedal, but I'll swing 150!
