This review is for the Acoustic Amplification B410 bass cabinet, sold by Guitar Center. It's street price is $299 but I got it on sale for $249.
I tried the B115 at the same time that I tried the B410 and I settled on the B410 because of it's higher power handling, and the fact that it seemed to have better note definition in the midrange than it's 15" cousin did. I really wanted the 15" because it sounded deeper in the extreme low end but I think that was because the amp was displayed as a full stack, with the 15" cab on the bottom. When I got the 410 down on the ground, it coupled with the floor and delivered up the low-end goods in spades.
This is a great sounding cabinet, and not just "for the money". It is really full and punchy, but depending on the eq setting it can be mellow and round sounding too. It really holds down the bottom end with a band very nicely indeed. I bought the matching Acoustic B200H amp head with the cab, and the two together are a fine match. It is a very efficient cabinet. I saw a spec of 102dB at one meter, with one watt input...which is very good. This spec isn't in the literature anywhere, and I saw it in a post from someone who should know. I'll say this; it's a loud cab and the amp doesn't even break a sweat while it's cranking. In fact, yesterday I played with a full band, loud, for over 3 hours and the amp wasn't even warm to the touch afterward.
I am able to get a nice, wide variety of tones out of this cabinet. From deep, heavy lows to sparkly, clear highs. It works well for any kind of playing that I've thrown at it, from slap to funk, to jazz and classic soul sounds and hard rock n roll.
I haven't heard a rattle or other unwanted noise from it...unless you call my playing mistakes unwanted noise! Time will tell, but out of the box, it has surpassed my expectations. I completely recommend this speaker cabinet. In fact, I think while they're still cheap I'm going to pick up another one as a backup/full stack option. A great value. I just wish the wheels had been included...so I'll give it a "9".

Heavy For Some, Horn hums a little, Interference issues (not a big deal)

I was in the marker for a b200 combo, which retails at $349. I went in to Guitar Center over presidents day weekend, and to my surprise found my $400 could buy me a B200h and B410 stack.
Needless to say, my little bmw coupe didnt like the big ol' box, so i had to open it up outside the store and fold the box up and put that in the trunk. Oh well!
Lets start with the first few things people look at:
Power - 400 watts at 8 ohms
Price - MSRP - $599, Usual price at GC: $299, Price I got it for, new: $229
4 10" speakers, Parallel 1/4" inputs, Horn on/off switch (thank god)
102db
Now, the actual 10" speakers are wonderful. You can play warm, funky fingerstyle, Slap, Highly overdriven or distorted pickstyle, anything! It can handle pretty much whatever you throw at it.
This thing is QUIET. You don't know its on (I've had to check a few times in case i left it on by accident) Unless you're playing something.
It seems to pick up a little interference on occation, but that may be because everything im near picks up interference (the tv flickers or buzzes a lot during "peak" people watching tv hours, haha..) One time on a practice amp (crappy ibanez one) i heard a radio talk station coming through, thats how much goes through my apartment.
Anyway, Its quiet. The only issue is at a high setting (i use it with a b200h) of the higher frequencies, with the horn switched on you get a very slight 60 ish hz hum, but once you play you cannot even notice if you try to. With the horn off it is dead silent.
It has caster holes, but doesnt come with any. I dont mind because My main job is a Personal Trainer, so i can lift me some things *flex* But for the average Muscician, It's a heavy Beast (about 80 lbs) and there is not top handle, so its a little awkward to hold. The side Handles are very sturdy though, and with two people its a breeze.
Now, why it got a 10. The value. Ive played a lot of 4x10's and 1x15 cabs over the last few weeks researching the best one. I even had the guys working at GC (i know a few of em) Blindfold me and not tell me which amp i was using, so i wasn't biased by brand recognition. I'd have to say... Except for Markbass (which is way more $$), Acoustic was far and out my favorite. AND the cheapest!
Based on value alone, It gets a 10. 8.5 otherwise. You're not getting a top top of the line (which 9-10 are reserved for) cab, but for the money.. you're getting the best possible deal i've played.

I recently purchased the B410 from Guitar Center using a 20% off coupon. I also bought a GK Goldline 500 on clearance to match my budget. I currently play mainly at my church and the room is at least 300 feet deep and 100 feet tall so its not a small room.
Previously I was using a single 12" amp in this space, and it just wasn't filling the room. It was physically loud enough but was just too small to really get the best sound in that big of a room.
In comes the B410. Rated at 400w and paired with a 500w amp, it totally blows the room away. I've only done a 45 min test so far, but at about 30% power, the whole room even in the back and the sides was filled with the nice warm tone coming out of the cab.
Given I didn't have a lot of money to spend and I had to buy an amp with it, the B410 made a lot of sense. I played both the Ampeg 4X10 and the Markbass setup on both the GK 500 and an SVT 3 Pro. Out of those combinations, I actually thought this setup sounded the best. I'm sure there are better setups out there, especially if you have more money to spend, but If you're looking to get a setup for around 600 then I recommend this purchase. It sounds even better with a 15" added to it but does a great job all by itself, especially in a large room.

I got my B -410 last week by trading an Epi Explorer even. I swore I'd never get rid of any bass EVER again, but GAS for a new cab to go with my recent purchase of an Ampeg SVT-450 got the best of me. I felt my Peavey 1820 wasn't the right cab for it. Man, this thing rocks. It looks. great, has tons of tone no matter what the EQ settings are or which bass I'm using. With the main volume on 8 and the gain on 3 the drummer said it was too loud, but the guitars both said it sounded better than anything I've ever played through. (I'm sure the Ampeg had lots to do with it also) As an earlier reviewer said , I thought about adding a 15" cab to go with, but now think another 410 is the way ill go. The tolex is a little shinier than the Ampeg, but not real noticeable, and the logo strip is very understated. Sadly, when I got it home I pulled it across the carpet an pulled one of the rubber feet off. Just a. Screw through the hole with not much reinforcement.4 new ones , a little heavier will follow soon. That's my only complaint. A great cab at a great price compared to GK, Hartke and Ampeg.
