Pros: Sound, on/off LED, & construction
Cons: none

If you own a passive bass, you owe it to yourself to try or purchase the Xotic Bass RC Booster. I wanted to boost the signal of a newly acquired Lakland DJ 5 and without dropping in a pre-configured preamp, I was able to find a device that totaly lifts the bass sound to a new level.

Pros: The sound of the bass without the XRCBB is great, however, the tonal control of the XRCBB gives the highs and lows a tremndous boost. It is very noticable and the sound is the DJ5 taken up a few notches. No coloring just the bass.

It is super light and built-like-a-tank construction. Everything is sturdy and it should last forever...Why? I am not selling this pedal!

Cons: None

How does it make the bass player feel?

Pros: Sound/compact and built like a tank/light weight
Cons: None

Upon receiving my Xotic Bass RC Booster, I quickly put it to the test. I fired it up in my Eden gear, and BAMM! Exactly what I have been searching for.

My low end is nice and warm, yet rounded. my highs, is what I wanted when boosted.
For me, this Xotic Bass RC Booster delivers the right punch I wanted, and I can adjust what I want from it.

I highly recommend this pedal to bassists who are into getting more from your sound, yet NO masking your sound.

Please, take it from me. You owe yourselves a trip to your local music shop to test the Xotic Bass RC Booster pedal out.

Pros: enhances your sound beautifully
Cons: none

This pedal is expensive and doesn't do much, but it's really, really useful.

Firstly it's a wonderful tool for anyone using more than one bass - it can straighten out levels (not just volume-wise, but also "dynamically", so you can switch instrument without having to reset your EQ.

Secondly it is excellent for solos, since it does more than boost the volume. It enhances your sound in three dimensions - up, down and forward - and you can balance these dimensions in very subtle ways.

Thirdly, it can give any tube amp that little extra grind, which is a great thing, if you prefer your tube amp (and not your pedals) to do the overdrive.

A wonderful little box!
