The best characteristic of this booster is to have no character at all!
Acclaimed Effect Pedals are coming to BASS Now!!
Bass RC Booster with a 2 band EQ, 15dB boost / cut function and a very smooth clean boost, this pedal meets a wide range of tonal applications.
With signal loss and EQ limitations common to vintage basses. The Bass RC Booster serves as the perfect remedy.

True bypass for eliminating any signal interference when it is switched out.

If you own a passive bass, you owe it to yourself to try or purchase the Xotic Bass RC Booster. I wanted to boost the signal of a newly acquired Lakland DJ 5 and without dropping in a pre-configured preamp, I was able to find a device that totaly lifts the bass sound to a new level.
Pros: The sound of the bass without the XRCBB is great, however, the tonal control of the XRCBB gives the highs and lows a tremndous boost. It is very noticable and the sound is the DJ5 taken up a few notches. No coloring just the bass.
It is super light and built-like-a-tank construction. Everything is sturdy and it should last forever...Why? I am not selling this pedal!
Cons: None
How does it make the bass player feel?
