Pros: Small, Great Sound, Head Phone and CD inputs
Cons: Only Useful for Practicing, Only one Instrument Input.

Having a 4x10 speaker cabinet in a small living space was not the ideal amp to warm up and practice on. Was using a VOX head phone amp but the current bass I use was distorting and giving off bad fuzz. I was in the need of a small combo that was small enough not to take up lots of space but was versatile enough to do help me develop my playing.

The After Eight has just about everything you need to practice by yourself, the best feature is that the 8" speaker fits in just about any place you put it. The sound is clean and eq is straight forward, head phone jack and an extension jack at 8 Ohms plus a line in CD input give you everything you could need by yourself.

If your in a small space and play just by yourself this is the speaker for you, at around 170 USD its a little pricey but well worth it.

If you are wanting to Gig or use a Combo for rehearsal than the 15w is simply not enough for you. But if you want a solid practice combo that wont shake the walls and can fit on a bookshelf then this is the amp for you.

Pros: Best practice amp in this price range.
Cons: Only for practicing, power to low to compete with a drummer

I'm having this amp besides an Ashdown C300 210 combo for practicing at home.

For this money you can't get a better home-practice amp.
It's has not enough power to practice with a band but for a lot of starters that's of no importance.
A 150 Watt combo costs at least 4 times as much and will get the neighbors angry an de windows shiver.
Mostly that's not what you need at home.
