Pros: Huge sound, well constructed, tons of features
Cons: Channel 2\\\'s distortion doesn\\\'t really kick as well as I would have hoped. Almost too much to tweak.

This amp has gobs of tone and volume. You have two different tones avaiable to you with the switchable graphic EQ as well as tone knobs on the face of the amp.

You also have three boost buttons for low, mids, and high range. I mainly use the high boost because this amp does get muddy fairly easily if you do not spend a good amount of time playing with the EQ. This is definately not a beginners amp by any means. Luckily with the tone knobs set at flat and the graphic EQ flat or off you still have a very nice tone to play with until you get your feet wet in tweaking this amp to the fullest.

The three band compression really helps focus your tone and keep it sounding very tight and crisp.

My only complaints on this amp is the channel 2 distortion does not work on my unit which may be due to a tube falling out during shipping and damaging the tube. Also the foot switch does not have a tuner mute button which, I feel, should be on every foot switch if it is a feature on the amp.

All in all this is a great amp with a few blemishes. This amp\'s name has been changed after the closure of the Fender made Sunn line to the Fender Bassman 1200 Pro. Same features, same design just diffeerent badges.
