I just bought this sucker 2 days ago at Guitar Center. It was on sale (end of the year thing) and I was in need of a powerful amp to handle my guitarist\'s very loud Mesa. I play in a metal band and found exactly what I needed in the Behringer BA810.
The first thing you will notice with this cab is the size (obviously.) It stands just about 5 feet tall and about 2 1/2 feet wide(resembles a refrigerator). This cabinet is so massive that I could barely fit it through my front door (and it wasn\'t goin\' sideways.) So, you gotta make sure you have an emmence amount of room for this puppy for storage. And as in any other amp, you don\'t want to keep it in a garage because of possible moisture damage. The weight is nuts! 176 pounds! Thats about the average male teen cramped into a big black box hahaha. You need at least two guys to put it in/take it out of an SUV (recommended) or pickup truck. But the huge handles on the sides and back make carrying this thing (when neccessary) fary easy. There are small, rollar blade looking, wheels on the back so when leaned, this baby becomes its own hand truck. That\'s enough about the size.
When it comes to sound, the only word I can think of is loud. Even when a 400 watt Behringer head is used, this monster still pounds chests. The tweeter really helps bring out the mids. And even though its big, it can still deliver that warm, rich tone that bass players strive for. You cant hook up a second cab to this because it is already at 4 ohm\'s but would you really need to?
Now, I just bought it and haven\'t exactly played around with it yet other then in the showroom with a Behringer 400 watt head. The head sounded awesome but I\'m still pondering on whether I should buy that or go with something else, farely cheap. (This is where I ask for your opinions.)
Ok, now the price. It\'s cheap, dirt cheap. This thing retails at 5-6 hundred, half what the Ampeg 8x10\" costs which, honestly, isnt much different other than a different driver type. I had a pretty small budget and needed something big, so I went with this.
It all comes down to this, if you need a bitchin\' huge cabinet and don\'t feel like emptying your retirement fund, I would defenitly go with this Behringer. Just make sure you got some buddies and a truck or SUV to haul it around in. S.D.M.F. 4 EVER!!!

Pros:

Loud, Delivers a nice warm tone, and rich a bit of growl too
Cons:
Heavy, bulky, not easy to move

I just wanted to add, that I bought the same cab, at the same time and got the 400 watt Behringer head, and it more than rocks the house. Its just such a PAIN to move. Otherwise, love it. I'm thinking of looking for something smaller for now, but man the feeling you get when you roll that puppy in and everyone and their mother starts staring at you is great

Pros:
Punchy, Loud, able to withstand a lot of abuse, cheap
Cons:
Heavy, horn sux, cant hook up extra cab
Starting with the gripes of this cab is that its so heavy that its almost retarded to move it anywhere other than to where its going to stay for the rest of its life. The compression driver (horn) sounds like dog crap to me atleast, it distorts when you get crazy on the higher pitches, and eats the lows thang God you can switch that POS off. The extra cab hooking up thing really is not a big deal but would be nice to have. As for the pro's: this cab (for all the people who dont mind having back problems for the rest of there lives)is durable as hell. I have gone to atleast 10 gigs with it and, being its heavy and cheap I tend to be rough with it just to get it the hell out of my hands, and it takes the beating, a buddy actually dropped the bottom half on the wheels getting it out of a truck and took it damn well. The sound of it crisp and punchy sometimes its to crisp, I can honestly say this cabinet is a great price for what you get. I have read and been part of many heated debates over the which cab is best and time and time again the Beringer seems to really give cabs in the equal size to wattage a run for the money. If your thinking of a big cab I would get it even if you can afford an Ampeg, hell I could have I just dont see the point in buy products because of their names. A pre amp or head I can see being a name brand whore over more so than a cab.

for those saying your cant use another cab, why cant you use a 2 ohm head?
or if its a jack issue, what head are you using that only has one out?
