Pros: -1 and -2 octaves, cheap
Cons: tracking

This is my first octave box. It's a great pleasure to play guitar and bass with an octave effect. It makes me want to play more and more. I was looking for an octaver and figured out there's this one which is cheaper than all but I heard that it's basically a Boss OC-2 copy.
This box is made of heavy duty plastic, it doesn't feel very cheap but it's not as sturdy as a metal box. It has 1 and 2 octave down which you can mix. It's simple to use and does the job.
Of course, the major problem with all octavers exist with this one, too. The tracking isn't awesome. It does not work much on the low E. On the higher strings, it works most of the time. I actually love those weird sounds the device makes as it is trying to reproduce the input at the correct pitch.
If you're looking to see what it feels like to play with an octaver (you've never had one) this looks like a great place to start since it's very cheap. I've heard of many other much more expensive octavers that track much better on this forum (EBS Octabass, MXR bass octave, EHX POG) and it shouldn't compare to those. But perhaps, as is stated at harmony central, it might do the job as good as a boss OC-2.
