This Rocktron X-Tune chromatic tuner stomp box for guitar and bass offers multi-light LEDs and lighted notes that make it easy to tune on dark stages. Built into a strong aluminum chassis, the X-Tune has muting for silent tuning and continuous out for live tuning. Handles 12-note tuning and a 7 octave range. The Calibration function sets the tuner unit to match the pitch of any instrument or audio source (like a piano or tape player). Powered by a 9V battery.

This tuner was a big let down. I wanted something on the floor instead of taking up a space in the rack. I ordered it online and wish I had tried one first.
One big complaint are the lights. In standing position, I can just barely make out what key is indicated .. the symbols are so small. And they are dim ... forget about using this thing for a daytime outdoor gig. Even if it was a great tuner they indicator lights killed it for me ... however that isn't really a problem since its tuning isn't all that great either. I own other Rocktron stuff that I think is very good, which is one reason I felt I could buy this tuner unseen. Mistake.

I didn't pay full price for this tuner, so I wasn't as disappointed with it as the other reviewer here, but I could have liked it more.
Basic function is slow to track and a slight lack of sensitvity. It is accurate, and the tuning lights are easy enough to use. Also, the bypass is excellent. It adds zero noise to my signal path.
Problems: won't pick up my low "b." I don't much like this. Also, like the other reviewer said, the note lights are very hard to read. But as long as you're not horribly out of whack, this shouldn't present a problem on stage.
I have been using it for about 6 months, and am going to get me a new tuner. If money is a concern for you (with most "good" tuners about the $100 range) you would do better to go with a $20 tuner than this, IMO.
