Pros: Good sound
Cons: poor ventilation, make sure it isn't resting on a carpeted cab

This is great little mixer, nice features and good bass reponse.
It was getting hot until I noticed that the ventilation slots on the bottom were blocked by the carpet on my cab. I just laid a pencil underneath to allow more space for airflow, stays cool now.

Pros: Small, Cheap, Sounds GREAT for bass!
Cons: Questionable life span of Behringer products- but it is cheap!

I bought this thinking I'd need it for my current band situation. I didn't at first, but do now. I use my own 802 in my 'silent' practice rig at home and an identical unit on the gigs I play here in casinos. I can tell you, the preamp sections on channel 1 and 2 with the trim pots sounds absolutely great for bass. Behringer claims it's designed to emulate the 'English' sound...whatever, it is very warm, and it seems like a much more expensive mixer. I use V- moda 'bass frequency' ear buds, which by the way, are the best I've tried for bass including Bose, Sennheiser, Sony, Phillips, and Koss plugs- both at home and on my gigs, and line in a cd at home, and the band mix live to the second channel, keys to the 3rd. and 4th. channel, live- and it's almost like a mini-Aviom! This mixer is so cheap, you can buy it, and use it...if it breaks, well...fifty bucks for a mini-mixer is a steal!
