Pros: Supports drop tunings, long life, great tone
Cons:

The .110 E string is great for Drop D tunings and beyond by providing extra tension for low tunings. The G string is a .043 to compensate for the extra tension, providing a softer G string which bends easily for those wailing Billy Sheehan solos. Put these on me EBO and Dimarzio loaded Precision a la Billy Sheehan and the bass wails! The strings stay bright and last for a long long time!

Pros: Tone
Cons: Longevity

Absolutely my favorite strings for their sound. They have a really nice balance string to string.

Having said that, I thought the brightness of the strings went away to quickly. If your changing them once every 1-2 weeks and make sure you clean them good as soon as your done playing, they are fine. After that they start to fade quickly, atleast in my experience they did.

Overall, I would recommend these strings to anyone who doesn\'t mind changing their strings often.

Pros:
Cons:

Paid $20 for the set - fairly standard. I first had these strings on the Yamaha Attitude Plus bass and they were the perfect blend of bottom punch, mid growl and crisp highs. I put a new set on every 2 to 3 gigs as they tend to loose their brillance rather quickly - then again I gig alot. If I could afford to, I would place a new set on every gig - not that they don\'t last but the sound right out of the package is nothing short of amazing!

Rock on!
