This is a flat back German bass from the late 20's or early 30's. I purchased it 4-5 years ago from Kolstien's and they didn't know much about it's history but it seems to have been restored in the not-to-distant past and looks nearly new. The bass is really a player's bass. It is also a very unique bass. I have not seen another bass quite like it.

I really do love this bass, it sounds great for jazz and solo/chamber work. I have; however, found another bass that has caught my eye and I need to pass this one on to a new owner to afford the other one.

    Upper Bout Width: 20"
    C Bout Width: 14.25"
    Lower Bout Width: 25"
    Depth at Heel: 7"
    Depth at Lower Bout: 8.75"
    Body Length: 43"
    String Length: 40.5"
    Location: Lincoln, NE
Other: Hole for Laborie Endpin, Includes Planet Wing Pickup

Bass is appraised at $12,000 I am asking $10,000 to sell it quickly. The price is firm as I need the money to fund another bass. I am; however, willing to travel fairly far to show the bass to interested parties.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
