Sounds incredible and needs nothing. I had it recapped this year by Jeff Bacos and have replaced the original speaker (included but possibly blown CTS) with an Eminence Beta from Fliptops.net. The cables were converted to a 3 prong grounded and a speaker jack on the amp and cab that are both easily reversible. The tubes are the original Ampeg branded tubes and they are running strong with good output and no microphonics. My tech agreed that there was no need to swap given that they sounded great.

Overall this amp is in really good shape cosmetically with a little fraying on the back of the cabinet but otherwise excellent. I have owned it for 2 years and only played it in my bedroom. I would like to get $1200 shipped ConUS. I am only selling because I just bought a 1963 P bass. I have many more pics available upon request.
