1. Welcome to TalkBass 2014! If you're new here, we just went through a major site upgrade. Please post all concerns and bugs to the Forum Usage Issues forum. We will be monitoring that forum. Thank you for all of your feedback.

The TalkBass iphone/android app is NOT WORKING currently. We're working on it. Tapatalk IS working, so if you need to use an app, use Tapatalk. Try using your browser though - TalkBass is now 100% responsive to your phone/tablet screen size ;)

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

Might be picking one up off a buddy, Think this head will be loud enough at 100 watts for full blown practice and shows?
Would be running it into a Orange 4x10 or 4x10 with a 15"
    Thanks!

I have a '73 V4B, and I run it through a 4x10. It is darn loud. So try it with your 4x10 to see if it works for you. If you still need more volume, add another 4x10 on top of the one you have. Skip the 410/115 combination (for a plethora of reasons that have been discussed on TB ad nauseum). A stacked pair of 4x10's will peel the paint off the wall with that V4B.

    Enjoy!
