    SOLD!

    1974 Fender Precision w/ OHSC
Original Custom Color Olympic White w/ Maple Neck

100% original down to the last screw. Includes the original chrome covers and hard shell case. No cracks, No Repairs, No extra screw holes or routes, No Mods, No Issues.

    • Serial # 58XXXX dates to '74.
    • Neck stamp (0103 3323) dates to 33rd week of '72 (common to pre-date the ser. #).
    • Both pots date to '74 (137-7405 & 137-7451) and all solder joints are virgin as far as I can tell.
    • Pickup codes (221974 & 211874) date to '74.
The bass plays fantastic, very low action, No dead notes. Neck has some cool flaming in the wood grain. Truss rod functions fine and still almost flush with the end of the heel, and the neck is straight. Original frets have only very minor wear and tons of life left. Very comfortable "B" neck. Nut is just a hair under 1 5/8".

The bass is in great condition for being 40 years old, but it does have dings and scratches here and there, some forearm (finish) wear on the top edge, and a little bit of buckle rash on the back. The Oly White finish has yellowed some over the years (the pics are actually a good representation of how it looks in person). The back of the neck is clean with only a few minor dings, nothing that would bother you while playing at all. Like most vintage P basses, the original pickguard is broken at the tip by the jack, but it's fully useable as is.

This bass has the sound and the feel! The original P/U is strong and loud. I get nothing but compliments on the tone of this bass! I just need to let a few go right now.

Includes the original case in what I would consider nice shape for its age. The leather on the ends has a few small scuff marks. All the latches work and the logo is intact.

8.8 lbs. w/ the covers on!

Very, very nice. I usually don't like the maple fretboards on oly white bodies but this one works well. GLWTS!

Ah me too. That is why I am looking to move the thunderbass into a p bass. No worries. I really love your bass but do not have enough funds without the pedulla as a partial trade. Thank you so much for your time and good luck with the sale.
