    1975 Fender Precision with the coveted and rare "A" neck option (Jazz-width nut). This bass is in excellent 100% original condition, including the original hardshell case. An iconic 70's vintage P masterpiece, with superb playability and tone. These don't become available often, and certainly not in this condition. Your search is over. Here is the one that you have been looking for!

    - Ash body with beautiful grain pattern, classic 3-tone sunburst finish, black/white/black pickguard
    - Maple neck and fingerboard, 1.49 inch measured nut width
    - Neck is straight, truss rod works fine, action is low, frets show no visible wear
    - Back of neck is smooth with no visible dings
    - All-original hardware, including pickup and bridge covers
    - Lightweight at ~8.7 lbs with covers on
    - 1975 dating based on 592XXX serial number, and potentiometer code 137754 (137 - CTS; 75 - 1975; 4 - 4th week of year)
    - All original electronics work fine, including pickup, potentiometers, and output jack
    - Pickup output is strong, tone is deep, warm, with vintage low-mid punch and smooth highs (not brittle)
    - A few minor blemishes, dings, checking and scratches, but none through the finish, no buckle rash
    - Currently strung with TI flats, also comes with what may be the original factory Fender flats
    - Original Fender hardshell case with orange lining in near-mint condition, all hinges and latches work fine

    The numeric code on the potentiometers confirms the 1975 vintage of this bass: 137754 (137 – CTS, 75 – 1975, 4 – 4th week of year)
