Up for sale is my 1977 Fender Jazz Bass. I bought this a few years back from the original owner. All the wear is 100% real. No relic job here. This has seen alot of New Orleans stages. It is 100% original with the exception of the rear pickup and its pot. It has an SD Antiquity single coil. The pickup had gone bad many years ago and he swapped it for another pickup. I put the Sd in it and it sounds incredible and correct. The frets are in great shape. I had a pro level done when I bought it. The covers, thumb rest, and case are all original. The original strap buttons are also included. The cases latches are broke but it still protects with a bungie! THis is a bass that will go up in value as time goes by. Im in a financial bind or Id keep it forever. Someone will enjoy this one. NO issues. straight neck. This Rare Mocha color is really cool in person and has a vintage vibe. fell free to email with questions This one weighs in at 10.05 on a shipping scale without covers.

It's always the timing isn't it? Sorry to hear you're in a bind. I would totally get this bass and you know it!

I hope you'll be able to come to BPL this year, but if not, totally understand.

    Good luck Rob!

I really wish Fender (as well as other manufactures) would offer Mocha as a finish option. Bump for a groovy disco machine!

it was pretty dirty when I got it. I left the funk on it. It only adds to the vibe....no polishing necessary
