Bought this as a refin project, but not enough time….

1981 G&L L-1000. Slot poles, Schaller tuners, great player. Body was stripped of whatever finish it had, neck was left alone (but has some honest player wear). Electronics work fine. Very light for a mahogany body G&L (just 9.25 lbs) and measures just under 1 11/16" at the nut. Knobs are wrong, extra strap button. This is a really nice bass and a great player. Ships with a crappy gig bag.

    SOLD

that's a sweet bookmatched looking body.

Duke is good to deal with.

    Just to be clear...
    1. The finish is stripped. I never got to refin it. It's like a rubbed finish, if anything.
    2. The knobs are not original, but they are what I got when I bought the bass.
    Thanks!

I've received a few questions about the fret wear. Let me take a close look at it when I get home tonight and I'll report back.

Sorry guys, I had jury duty and a day job that I had to get back on track.

There is some fret wear, nothing outrageous. I will post some pix late tonight after I get back from my gig.
