This is a well used 4001CS. Not for collectors. It plays and sounds great, and has the scars to show for it. Made in 1998. Comes with original silver case that also shows wear. Bass is all original except for the strap buttons.

The bass is currently sporting a new plexi pickguard. The original one is cracked and missing some paint, but will be included as well, along with the certificate.

I have taken a lot of pics. Some with the flash on, and some with the flash off, so you can get a good idea of how it looks in person.

Let me know if you have any questions.
I would prefer a straight sale, but if you'd like to offer a trade, I'll listen to them. The worst I'll say is no thank you.

Wow...I've wanted one of these since highschool! You happen to know how it compares to a 4001c64?

It sounds pretty similar to a c64. But if I remember correctly, the c64 has a cap on the bridge pickup, so it isn't as hot. This horseshoe is very loud and punchy.

I played one of these for a set once and it DUSTED any other Ric I ever played, and I've had quite a few. If I was in the market, I would get this in an instant. Great seller and great instrument.
