    NEW LOWER PRICE!

No longer in regular production unfortunately, Fbass Studio 5 1999, killer bass, mega fat and awesome B. Has had flats for 15 years so frets = like new (seriously)! One of the first with single coil/hum cancelling option. Best 3 band eq on the planet (defeatable) with passive tone control. See thru nitro blue over beautiful ash. A few checks n dings but all in all good shape. The neck shape is unreal on this thing (very flamey board too!) and on a strap it melts into you. No issues, priced to move to save my butt. This bass is just gettin better! Comes with original bill of sale and F - bag.
Tis a very manly bass tone wise.

$1799 USD shipped to lower 48 and Canada No trades except for $ please.

Wish I still had my studio 5 best sounding Fbass I think. If I didn't just buy a Fbass I would be all over this. Price is right on!

Bump for the Fender redesigned. Not to knock the "parts bass" guys cuz there are a few great ones out there (Carey, Roger, Mike but, this is entirely handcrafted, hand carved. Functional art! The feel is amazing the natural tone is so fat and punchy in single coil mode. For the $ you can get an new F for almost a grand less than some of those. This one is a steal. *If I could keep it I would, even just to have a piece of work as fine as this but a) I think basses should be played not collected and b) I can't afford to keep it.*
    F bump!

This is a great price on a great bass. I have one. The Studios are the best. Especially with the new stacked singles. These balance a bit more "traditional" than the BN5s which is nice. Plus fuller/fatter low end than the BNs

Thanks kokorollc, that is a very good assessment of this Studio 5, yeah the single coil mode is def something.
This is the beast, don't let those beautiful lines fool you - punchiest, fattest 5 I can imagine. Look at that sweet flamey board and slick fret work! :bassist: This thing does it all (and has) from bop to big modern country. The color in the picture here is pretty much dead on to what it appears like in person. PM me for any questions, and thanks for the interest so far!
