I have decided 6 basses is too many, so I'm doing some downsizing to shift my focus away from the gear and toward the playing.
So here is your chance at the best 5 string I've owned (and I've had a lot of good ones).

    - Nicely worn look, see the photos for details. I call it Apparent Rock Usage.
    - Chunk of funk: Beefy quartersawn neck with 1.75" nut.
    - Frets in great condition, trussrod working properly with plenty of adjustment range in either direction.
    - Neck is dead straight, sets up great with super low action
    - Factory switchable passive or active, sounds great with no battery!
    - Weighs 10 lb.

Was $1000 Now $900 shipped CON US in pictured Fender chainsaw case.
Euro/USA neck through Spector and vintage P Bass trades considered +/- cash!

    Thanks for looking!
    -Darren

Here is a live clip of this bass in passive mode:

Can you describe the nicely worn imperfections? How about fret wear?

    Thanks, Bob

Frets are in excellent condition, the neck is dead straight and the bass sets up with super low action if desired.

I added some flash photos of the wear to the original post which accentuates the flaws.

Loved your ebay clip you have a great sound with that bass- as a g&L fan, can you tell what your settings were and what you use for strings?

That clip was everything wide open passive. Both pickups on, tones both all the way up. I believe the Series/Parallel switch was on Parallel. So switches positions were middle, right, right from the players view.

Strings are 40-125 Dunlop Nickel... I like to set it up super low for slap style playing and because you can get it to pop like that with aggressive right hand technique (as you heard in the clip).
