    THE BASS

This bass is a 2012 but I am the first owner and I bought it in July 2013. It has hardly been used! I just need to finally admit it is possible to have too many basses! At least for me... So I am listing this here for a short time hoping I can give someone a great deal and avoid the dreaded ebay.

I think this sunburst is pretty nice and I love the rosewood on the fingerboard-really nice grain IMHO. The bass weighs 8lb 13oz and balances nicely.

It is stock with to the exception of an "orange drop" .047 cap on the tone. This has the custom shop pickups and they sound perfect to me. I did remove the stock bridge saddle hex screws and replaced them with shorter ones so that they don't protrude and scratch your hand if you like to rest it on the saddles. I will leave them on and include the original screws!

It comes with the original case, tags, tools, strap etc. I even have the original shipping box it came to the store in!

There are some little dings on the edges of the body but they are shallow and hard get in a pic. One of the great things about these basses is the finish is thin to allow for more resonance but it makes it a bit easier to ding up. The frets are in great shape as I mainly used flats. It does have a set of DR sunbeams nickel rounds 45-100 now that I just put on. There is one teeny chip on the corner of the neck pocket but it is seriously tiny. The bass is in really good shape but it is not new so please be aware of that. I only used it for 2 shows and that's about it. I think my price is good and all the extras just make it sweeter...

Classic P-bass bump. If I had a Precision it would be this combo.

Saw/heard a bass with this combo of wood/finish at a concert last night (The Band Perry) and got me GAS'ing pretty good. Had the classic look and sound. Be a nice contrasting option from my Roscoe 5 for me.

    Hmm. Decisions, decisions.
