Ok, now I can say I gave it a try... Bottom line: I'm not a precision bass kind of guy. I know it's an awesome bass, and this one plays extremely comfortably even, but I'm a jazz bass guy through and through... Plus I'm in need of some cash (aren't we all?)

Includes original hardshell case, I installed strap-locks on the bass, and the previous owner put a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 pickup in it, a hipshot bridge, and D'Addario Chrome strings.
Don't know the exact weight but this is MUCH lighter than my 4 string Fender jazz bass at 9 lbs. I'm guessing between 8 and 8.4 tops. But I'm guessing on that compared to my other basses.

Original owner bought it in late 2012, used it for a couple of months, decided he was a jazz bass guy. He then traded it to me for one of the many jazz basses I had since I wanted to give a P-bass a try. I've now had it for maybe a month tops and have decided P-bass isn't my kind of tone either. That's not to say this bass isn't good. Especially with the upgraded bridge and PICKUPS! It sounds cool, I just can't think of a situation in which I'd choose this over my Sadowsky jazz bass.

$900 with free shipping in US :bassist:

Does this bridge allow string through body?

Yup. String thru or top load with adjustable string spacing (currently set up so all strings are centered between pole pieces)

Open to trade offers for something (preferably with 5-strings) that has lots of growl. (good jazz fusion type of tone) but sale is still preferable.

Wish we could make a deal man...
I might have to put this up on evilbay, which I really don't want to do... Will take $800 or open to 5-string trades.

    Hey Lenny,
I hope we can make it work. This is already at an unbelievable price for an upgraded P-bass so I'm not really able to budge. Any less than that and I'd just assume keep the bass, you know what I mean? But we are close, I think...
