Right now I am looking at rebuilding my first bass (Encore P-Bass) with some nice parts after I ruined the neck trying to refinish it a few years ago.... it was all going so well until I decided to refinish the fretboard :crying:

But my big buy will be a Warwick Streamer Stage 2 in late February.

    How about you guys?

A nice high end Spector. I've been looking to get one after I had to sell my first spector due to a car crash :crying:

It played and sounded phenomenal at every studio sesh and gig, and it was only one of the Legend Classic's, I'm dying to get my hands on a Euro.

New pickups and preamp for my new (to me) Squier P-Bass Special. The stock bridge pickup is lacking to me.

Also, lumber and hardware for my next fretless build (my 16th bass build).

No GAS for new basses at the moment. Hopefully that holds.

I'd like to get my hands on a T-40, BB1024X and Wal MkII in the near future, but the bank insists I pay back the mortgage. I've heard crime pays, however, so I may change career and give politics or banking a shot.

Are T-40's expensive now, about 10 years ago they where dirt cheap?

I do love the Spector tone, I had a bad experience with the rex bass (which I hated) but I will invest in a good one soon I hope.

5 String bongo and/or a jazz. I've also just really come to appreciate Gibson basses, so if I find one for a steal, it'll likely make the list.

A high end Spector is also part of my longer term GAS list.

Just ordered a Genz Benz Contour 115T combo yesterday. Can't wait to compare it to my GK MB115! Next will be a Squier VM P5. I "hope" that I'll be out of gas for a while after that.

I wonder if Ibanez has something new for this year.

Rumors are that they will release Prestige BTB basses this year, so I'm pretty curious about it.

Finally doing a fretless parts bass. I'm waiting on the body to be delivered, just need to get a neck, and all of the neck related hardware, and I'll be good to go.

I hear you on the bongo, my favorite EBMM, I really want to get a 6 string but I can't justify it until I need it for music that I play... hell I don't even need a 5 string at the moment :spit:

My GAS has it's sights on an American Special Jazz.

No basses on the radar in my foreseeable future but I do plan to upgrade my amp setup this year. Leaning toward a Mark Bass setup.

    K. So it's Jan 16. So far, I've bought my first two 5ers; Gibson thunderbird Studio V, and a 2004 Bongo V. I need help!

I continue my hunt for a Westbury Track 4 in good condition. Or a 5-string Les Paul bass.

I am starting the year off right with an AVRI 57' P.

My plans this year was to finally get a Ric and only get a Ric.
    I can't decide between a new Mapleglo or a Vintage 70's

    3. an amp and cab from this century.
    4. recording studio eqpt - mikes, etc. (need to make some room in house first)
    5. maybe a five string, no idea what kind yet.

Stingray HH, vintage white, maple board, SLO neck. I've missed two of them right here in the Classifieds in the last six months alone…

Also might reacquire a (preferably cheap beater) G&L Tribute L2000 as a platform for playing with electronics mods.
