Hello. I'm considering single 210 cab options for my permanent home practice rig. I want clear and modern, but not real thin. Iv'e been trying different heads without a lot of success, and I'm starting to wonder if the DB112 that I'm currently using is less then ideal.
Two that are on my radar are the DB210, as Aggy stuff seems well built imo, and I like the color options. Also, the Berg AE210, which I realize is no longer made. I have read alot of reviews about the AE210 that seem to indicate it might be appropriate. This cab will not move and weight and size is not a concern at all. Any opinions on these two, or any others that might be worth considering are appreciated.

I have had my Aguilar GS210 for a few years now and am very happy with it. Paired with my GS115 and running my SVT 2 Pro through it, in my basement, it rattles all kinds of stuff on the main floor of my house - with the amp gain only set at about 1/4 - 1/3 of the way up from 0!

Call them. They have heard from many other TB members and will meet the price.

    I have an Ampeg PF210HE.

Maybe not "modern" sound but it does have a 1˝ HF compression driver w/L-Pad level control.

    Mmmmmm Ampeg goodness.

If you can find a used Aguilar S210, grab it...great cab for a great price (around $200 used)...

I'm currently looking for a pair of 2x10's to make a modular rig and I have basically narrowed my search to a few different brands

DNA, Bergantino and Avatar are basically what I've narrowed my search to. (listed in no real particular order)

All three have great build quality and, even though I've never personally played thru an Avatar, I have read/heard good things about their tone...and for the price they seem to be one of the better values out there, and the color scheme is customizable!

Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the brands you are looking into! Good Luck!!

Got one from them as well - not sure how they can do that price, but there's a brand new 350W 2x10inch amp in my house now!
