    Didn't think it was possible. In fact, I thought two was bad enough (from personal experience). But here it goes. Here's Dizzy's recording of Manteca.

    Then again, in this particular recording the more relevant question is really "What do you need 3 trumpet players for? Or even 1?"

    The whole thing was groving along nicely until the trumpet players - including Dizzy - decided that playing very quick chromatic runs out of tune served the song...
