I think so. They have new stuff and you can buy/sell used gear. I listed an item there once but it sold elsewhere. I believe it may be a slice off of Chicago Music Exchange (based on the styling), but I could be wrong.

I'll reply if/when I get my $3 tuner and post a comment on it.

Very. I've had a great experience buying and selling. It's pretty much a musician dedicated ebay. Highly recommend.

That's good to know. I was just checking out and there's no paypal, but I'll give it a shot.

Clip on tuners for bass are hit or miss... def have trouble registering some of the notes unless you fret at the 12th.

I had ordered one and I have received it. It's not junk and well worth the 3 bucks. It easily reads the A, D and G though the E is hit or miss.

Honestly for 3 bucks I couldn't pass it up. It works well enough that I use most times I practice.

I always tune with the 12th fret harmonic... clip on tuners read that easier.. especially the low b

This isn't quite as good as the Snark but beats some other clip ons I've tried. Well worth $3 to throw in your case and have it if you need it. 12th harmonic is a good tip for any tuner that struggles on the low string(s).

This is what I do, too.

Hit the 12th fret harmonic to tune the strings. Any tuner can read that quickly and stably.

I have one and my only nit is that the dial doesn't spin around like on the Snark. Other than that, it picks up the string frequency pretty quick and is selectable between bass (B), guitar (G), and chromatic (C).

Three bucks? Heck yeah, all day.
