I'm putting a Bartolini NTBTG/918 preamp in a J-Bass I'm building and need solid shaft pots so as to avoid the dreaded knob wobble with J-bass knobs. It looks like Bourns makes solid shaft pots for the 25k volume and 250k blend but I can't seem to find 50k, center detent pots for the bass and treble pots. Where can I get these???

Also, What's up with the trim pot? Is that optional and if so, should I wire one up? Here's the schematic:

    Thanks

So those sleeves work pretty good? That would save me a lot of hassle if I could slip em on and get rid of the knob wobble.

If you insist on using solid shaft pots, why not convert split shafts to solid with brass sleeves?

Looks like I'll have to. Would putting a shim in the split help keep them straight?

They do work great, you can shim the split if you want to. Wouldn't hurt!

So if I put a sleeve on and put my shim real tight in the split, my knob will be straight? Cool.
