    Never say never.

Up for sale only ... no trades please.

    2011 60th Anniversary Precision Bass

Blonde finish with a thin nitro lacquer.
    beautiful grain.
    Maple neck.
    Drop D tuner added.

can't find a mark on it but I believe there is
some bleed through of black foam on the back
of the neck ... ( pointed out ) very minor hard to see.

    tweed case
    Quarter rounds labella strings.
plays like a dream ... best P bass I have.

I have a couple older p basses that aren't as nice but I have to hang on to due to sentimental reasons ....

mid 8lbs weight but I'll get an exact weight posted.

    [DEL]$1175 [/DEL] paypal lower 48 only.

    $1100

If this is the bass I think it is, I can back up the sellers statement. This bass kicks ass!

Thanks DG ! ( ooops .... I'm not allowed to say that ... TB 5 - 0 are on me ! they have profiled me as a serial bumper )

I want to make a correction ... per the bylaws and under advisement of counsel ... I believe I am allowed to do so.

The bass is not a mid 8lbs but

    9lbs 3 ozs on a digital scale.

    sits and balances very nicely.

I had a sunburst 60th and imho these 60th anniversary basses are probably some of the best to come out of the USA factory in the last 40+ years. They are built stellar and sound fantastic. Highly recommended.

Are ya' SURE you want to do this, Willie?! I had sellers' remorse after selling my blonde beauty. So much so that I ended up buying one in the sunburst version. LOVE those blondes though...

    No I don't WANT to .... I really don't ... its the best built P bass I'ver ever had.

The neck is perfect .... neck pocket is tight ..... nut and fretwork .... beautiful
and if I may add one more note of interest ( so I don't get busted for gratuitous bumping )

this bass has ( for me ) an advantage over my 57 AVRI with larger frets so I don't concern myself with using roundwounds.

Ok .... have I added worthwhile information to the sale thread ?
