$1,850 shipped. One of my babies must go!!! This one is excellent, light (of course) Plays and sound fine. It's also featured in the new Hofner book too! Nice broken in set of Thomastiks. Hard case. Good neck angle, little to no fretwear. Just a good clean rare '66. No trades on this one, lower 48 in the con. US only. Thanks!

What could possibly be so desirable as to convince you to part with such a tasty vintage cupcake like this?

Well truth be told, I really want an early 70's P Bass in sunburst/rosewood. Trying to re-acquire one like I had back in the first few years I was playing. When they were $225 used... :-(

Fran, I really think you'll regret it! Don't get me wrong, I love P's probably as much as you do. But this is one of your babies!

I hear ya'. I paid $ 199 for my '73 P brand new. Sold it for $ 250 in '81 because I needed money in dental school. Wouldn't mind having another one, but no way I would part w a Hofner to get it. Good luck to you howver it turns out. ;)
