That's pretty funny.
My hope is that the seller is misinformed and not trying to pull a fast one.
an '86 listed as a '68. IMO, not cool.
Ummm…. yeah. Not to mention it says (or should say) Made in Japan right on the headstock.
Grossly Misinformed or Fookin' Idiot? You be the judge, lol.
One the one hand, it's obviously an intentional crook, since he has carefully not shown the entire headstock.
On the other hand, it's obviously not intentionally crooked, since he shows the serial number so clearly that any idiot can immediately discover it is from the mid 80's.
So, I'm confused. lol
Messaged the guy a link from fender on how to date fender guitars and basses we will see if he responds...
If someone is dumb enough to pay 3k for that thinking its a '68 then they deserve it because they have more money the sense.
Must be he came down because the ad said $10,000 when I saw it
Hell , now I am interested
Still says 10k
at first I thought, dyslexic (86-68) but then, no.., something is going on here. FTR, throwing in a Polytone (ok guitar/upright bass amp but having owned one it's nothing to write home about
) as a potential selling point? ~~~ o-k. I vote scam artist.
I vote drug addict with ADHD and low IQ.
Still posted… Apparently the buyer does not listen to outside date opinions.
