a bassist you might enjoy

    mandolin is my "other" instrument and while cruising the mando threads I came across this. I have no idea who she is, and yeah there are mostly open notes, but she handles her solo well and she's easy on the eyes.

    she's probably famous and I have no idea.

    I ran across a vid of this group several months ago while surfing. I was blown away by the song.
    It was from the same performance. They are great. Of course Tony Rice and Peter Rowan are legends. Those ladies are great musicians.

    Indeed! I prefer when Rowan is on mandola but that seriously rocks. I love how Bryn picks up her bass and walks over to be behind whoever is soloing. Man, I don't know how I missed this until now. :bassist:
