a question for those of you that have built with Delano pups.

    I have one of the MC6 He/s pups. I don't see any info on the Delano site as to what spacing these pups will handle. Do any of you know? Thanks

    So it will do a 18mm very cool. Thinking about building a F# 6 for myself. I have no use for a C string.

    yeah Tom, 18 is about the max with full response, I emailed a friend over in Germany who is very well connected with Delano. The builder he works for uses a lot of Delano product.

    Reinhard has always been really good about responding to my emails about his pickups but it sometimes takes a couple business days (i'ce never gotten a weekend response) And don't forget the time difference.

    The bass sounds like a really cool build Tom and the Delano's are excellent pickups. Good luck!

    I heard from Delano. They said

    "Hello Thomas,
    Standard string spacings from the MC6HE/S is 90mm over the pickup. Other spacings are possible and require an upcharge of 40%.

    Interesting I have alredy decided to use a set of dual coils I made pup coves for but at least I know now what the spacing is.
