    Fellas,

How difficult is it to switch from active to passive? I have a 2010 Fender Deluxe Special (MIM) that I was curious about converting over to passive.

It has the one stacked knob and three other knobs...Would I have to use all new caps and other electronic goodies to do this?

I always wanted to convert a PJ active bass into two volumes, and no tone knobs whatsoever. I couldn't mod a MIM or MIA Fender bass, is the thing.

I've probably owned atleast half a dozen Fender passive P/J basses - IME, none of them worked as well as that particular active P/J...
