FS: Adam Stone 5-string Carl Thompson Style bass. 1 piece maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Walnut top and back with bubinga center block cap (top and back), maple body core with purpleheart accent stripes, Zebrawood headstock overlay on front and padauk veneer on back, 34" scale, single EMG with Volume and tone controls, Sperzel locking tuners, kahler bridge with tight spacing (around 16mm), and 3D scroll.

It's light (8.5 lbs on the bathroom scale), balances perfectly, and turns heads every time it comes out of the case. When I got it the neck was HUGE and I carved it down to a comfy C-shape

Having owned a real CT I can say that this is a stunning tribute. It has excellent scroll work, great woods, and excellent attention to detail (down to the multi-layer wooden nut!). While it's tough to beat Carl Thompson's attention for everything in a bass, this thing does pretty good, for less than a 5th of the cost of a real CT.

I also have a brand new Nordstrand Dual Rail pick up I'd planned on putting in this bass but never got around to. I'd install that, give it new CTS pots and switchcraft jack for an additional $100

As is: $900 shipped in the lower 48 in a Ritter gig bag ($1000 with the Nordy)

Wow!!! That's actually the bass I asked Adam to use as a partial template for my bass!

Adam's basses aren't a "poor man's" anything. In my experience, when I play the bass he made I just feel like I'm home. I can't say enough good things about Adam's work.

Sad to say I don't have bass cash right now, but good luck with the sale!

No real sound clips, but there is a video of me playing it live. The recording is just a little handheld video camera, the bass isn't going thru the PA, just my Eden wt-400 and an SWR 8x10
