im currently using a 1980 hondo pro II double p and it came loaded with original dimarzio's, i like the tone alot and i think sound great with my fuzz pedal in my stoner/doom band, but i think im looking for something new, has anyone used these?

They must not sell many. I got a set off amazon when they were discounted. will go in sometime soon in my backup P. Overwound with bigger pole pieces. Did you see the demo on aguilar.com? Pretty funny that the EMG Geezers have garnered a gazillion posts here on TB and no one has even said they tried these. They are pricey though

They actually sell a ton of these and sometimes can't keep up with the demand ;)
