This is basically brand new. I bought it to use with my DB750 and it sounds great but I am just not using it as much as I thought I would.

The unit comes with the footswitch.

    $275 plus $15 shipping.

    no trades, paypal OK.

Are you also going to provide the rack ears for this unit?

I couldn't find any photos or information about the footswitch on the Aguilar website. Can you describe the footswitch and describe how it works (A photo would be great!)? THANKS!

I'll try to get pics tomorrow.

The unit is still in the rack and my rack is in my studio....

Yes the rack ears will come with it.

The footswitch simply turns the unit on and off (between on and standby)

this way you can use the Agro in front of your current amp and have a completely controllable overdrive. Set the over drive tone you like on the agro and then use the footswitch to go between the overdrive of the agro and the pure tone of your amp.

    here is a good review:

How is this as a stand alone preamp?

The reviews say it works well but does it really? Could this be used to get the Aguilar sound for a reasonable price?

It is basically and AG-500 without the power. If it were going into a good power amp of if you were using it as just a nice DI live or in the studio it should capture the Aguilar sound found in the AG-500.

The only problem using an AGRO as a preamp would be that the "clean channel" has no EQ. It would be great if you wanted dirt all the time though.
