Bass musician magazine on the facebook feed asked if anyone had played/heard an airwave bass.

I thought I have heard of them all, but never heard of airwave. Lightwave sure I have played a few the ones with optical pickups, but never Airwave.

    Google turned up nothing

I figured, but getting the name wrong of a product one is asking about...and a few people posted experience...They could be referencing the wrong name with the right bass but is why Im in a dilemma.

Sounds like an Airline with a Lightwave pickup.

Which, now that I think about it, could be pretty damn cool.
