I am selling my ac hippy dippy trippy 6571 J 5 string bass. It's in great shape, feels and sounds amazing, and comes with original protec case. The body is alder and the fingerboard is jimmywood. The bass is passive and weighs right under 10 lbs according to my bathroom scale.

$2275 shipped to lower 48. PayPal preferred

Someone's going to do something irrational when they stumble across this thread....,but not me. I've done too many irrational things lately. Free bump for an AWESOME axe at an unbeatable price.

This is Jimmy's stripped down model. No preamp and only the lightest oil finish to protect the wood (feels totally bare). It also has a peace sign on the headstock to pay tribute to all the hippies that sanded down the finish on their basses to enhance "tone". The pickups and bass are otherwise made just like the more expensive models.

I love the feel of the hippie models. I have the hippy version of the old fashioned. Wish I had the cash for this!
